This thread discusses the Content article: Now Concerning a Woman's Role in the Church. Part 1

I realize that any allusion to Judges may be greeted w/ scepticism. However, I tend to see Judges as an example of how God did Government before His people mucked with it. I look to Deborah's discussion of the matter as insightful. The people were, well, sorta lame at the time, and they asked her to lead them in a critical time (Judges 4:4-14). Her response, and the way things played out is interesting to me.

I think I will cowardly bow out of giving further commentary though unless anyone cares to discuss .

We had a lot of discussion in Russian on this topic before we even posted this article. It is a hot topic, and lots of people vehemently stake our their position without taking a complete and balanced look at scripture.
